Brief
ABC Labs was built in the midst of a global pandemic, quickly becoming the largest pandemic lab in Sweden. They needed a brand identity and website to establish their presence, as soon as possible.
Insight
Can we create a visual world for the laboratory that doesn't tie it closely to only Covid-19, in order to expand into other fields? ABC Labs wants to demonstrate that they are the lab of the future with their use of automated processes and robots.
Solution
The point grid is an abstract interpretation of the automated test tube maps that the robots follow. This provides a structure and foundation for layouts and can be used as a graphic element.
Based on this grid, we also developed the Probat Regular typeface in two cuts to achieve a clear communication typeface.
